On the 23rd of May 1998 my wife Megan and I were highly honoured to be invited to meet Oscar Luigi Scalfaro President of Italy. I was further privileged that in order to mark his visit to Villa Scalabrini in Shenley Hertfordshire, Padre Alberto Vico presented the President with one of my paintings of Lyme Regis.
