Hella Cunni - This is a Norse term meaning 'The Ancestors'. The name was corrupted in the medieval mystery play to Harlequin, lover of Columbine the dove-maiden who was a later version of the Goddess Hel-Queen of the dead.
Mudra - Mudra is a Tantric term for woman. It is also a mystical gesture in temple dancers' sign language. Another meaning is "bean", referring to the seed or essence of life itself.
Lughnasad - The pagan festival that marks the beginning of the harvest. Thanks offerings are given to the Sun God Lugh and the Earth Mother for the first fruits of the season as the corn is cut.
